An Enfamil Formula to Help Meet Your Baby's Needs
If your baby's having a hard time with his or her feedings, it's probably because their little digestive system is still developing and may need some additional TLC. Fortunately, there's an Enfamil formula designed to help meet these feeding needs.
These formulas are formulated to include a blend of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and ARA (arachidonic acid), nutrients found in breast milk that help in the development of a baby's brain, eyes, and immune system. Whatever your baby's feeding need, there's an Enfamil formula to help.
A Specialty Formula for Babies with Milk Protein Allergy
If your baby experiences excessive crying or appears colicky, this may be due to the regular infant formula they are drinking. Your baby could have an allergy or sensitivity to the cow's milk protein found in that formula. Nutramigen with Enflora LGG* has been specially designed to help manage babies with cow's milk protein allergy. Ask your baby's doctor if this formula is right for your baby.
The Story Behind the Allergy
What causes a milk protein allergy or sensitivity? A baby's intestine is naturally immature at birth. As your baby feeds, whole proteins are digested and absorbed into the intestine. But occasionally, larger proteins can slip through the immature intestinal barrier.
In infants with a cow's milk protein allergy, these proteins are misrecognized as a foreign body, or antigen, which leads to an immune response, eventually causing the intestine to become inflamed. Prolonged inflammation allows for an increased transfer of antigens, causing more inflammation and discomfort for a baby.
Manage Cow's Milk Protein Allergy with the Power of Two
Formulas like this one, designed for infants with cow's milk protein allergy, use proteins that are extensively broken down to reduce allergen exposure and avoid an allergic response.
With the Power of Two, this formula not only has these broken-down proteins--it also has a probiotic that helps the strength of the intestinal barrier. Nutramigen effectively manages colic due to a cow's milk protein allergy fast--often within 48 hours.
Recommended and Trusted
With 70 years of proven performance, Nutramigen has long been recommended by doctors and trusted by mom to effectively manage cow's milk protein allergy. Now, with the Power of Two, it also has an extensively studied probiotic for allergy management.

Enfamil Nutramigen with Enflora Powder for Infants with Iron, 12.6-Ounce Cans (Case of 6) Reviews
17 of 18 people found the following review helpful It actually IS a better deal..., By kaibobo (San Diego) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Enfamil Premium Infant Formula, 23.4 Ounces (Pack of 5) = 117 Total Ounces (Health and Beauty) Unfortunately, I think the last reviewer's math was off. The 2 count refill package I believe he's talking about is, in fact, a net quantity of 35 oz. You do not get 2 packages of 23.4 oz. I'm not sure where this person is able to purchase (23.4 oz) refill packs, but the ones I've purchased have always included 2 packages with a net quantity of 35 oz (which is stipulated on the front of the box). When I do the math, the subscribe and save option is actually a better deal, since you actually get 5 packages of true 23.4 oz quantity. That makes 117 total oz of powder. At the sub/save price of $103, this seems to be a better deal. If you were to buy 5 separate packages of the 23.4 oz product at the typical price of $23-25 you'd be paying around $115 to $125. As always, if you shop around you'll usually be able to find discounts and sales on Enfamil depending on where you shop, but I think Amazon is offering a nice service putting this product on subscribe and save. My baby has done really... If you tried the "new and improved" Enfamil Toddler formula and hated it, good news! This 5-pack 15oz Enfamil appears to be the original toddler formula that our kids loved, that doesn't leave a greasy film and doesn't curdle. It is NOT the "new and improved" natural milk flavor one with corn syrup as the second ingredient that has parents up in arms. The packaging and label on the amazon listing look the same, but it arrives in a plain box with five refill bags. It has: * nonfat milk and vegetable oil (palm olein, soy, coconut and sunflower oils), instead of the whole milk of the "new" version * corn syrup solids as the third ingredient, not the second * no natural flavoring added * the formula doesn't curdle after an hour and there is no greasy film, so washing bottles is a whole lot easier. * the same 160 calories per 8 fluid oz as the new... Read more 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful Do the math on your ounces these are bigger than the store packs, By This review is from: Enfamil Premium Infant Formula, 23.4 Ounces (Pack of 5) = 117 Total Ounces (Health and Beauty) If you are trying to compare to the boxes at Sam's or Costco or Target make sure you are looking at the ounces. Bottom line is take the cost and divide by the total ounces. Costco does have a 3 pack of the 17.5oz ones that we get for about $44 that is about $.84 an ounce, under this subscribe and save its $.88 but that is about $5 for this huge case of 117oz and this arrives at your door and you have to refill less because of the bigger containers. It's actually a good deal and about time Amazon added this to the subscribe and save, I'm still getting Pampers for less than the Kirkland brand at Costco! |
